Steps to Enrollment

1. Schedule School Tour

To begin your journey as a student at Randon Aviation, your first step is to schedule a tour of the school. During the tour, you will have the opportunity to learn how our school operates and see the facilities and aircraft you will be using during training.

2. Obtain FAA Medical Certificate

All pilots, whether flying for fun or as a career, need a medical certificate from an Aviation Medical Examiner (AME). If you are starting your training with the intent to fly as a career, you are required to hold a first class medical certificate before you begin training. If you are training only for your Private Pilot Certificate, you are required to hold a third class medical before you begin training. 3. Financing Approval (if applicable)

We have established partnerships with Stratus and Flight Training Finance to offer financing options for each training program we offer. If you will be financing your training, you are required to submit lender approval before you begin training. For more information about financing, please refer to our Financing page.

4. Set Up Aircraft Renter’s Insurance Policy

We require all students to carry a current aircraft renter’s insurance policy. The minimum coverage amounts are:

• Bodily Injury & Property Damage Liability: $250,000 each occurrence
• Medical Expenses: $1,000 each passenger
• Property Damage to Non-Owned Aircraft: $50,000 each occurrence

The most common insurance providers our students use are Starr, Avemco, and Global Aerospace.

5. Schedule Enrollment Meeting

After completing the first four tasks, the final step is to schedule an enrollment meeting with our team. In this meeting, we will assist you in creating your student account within our system, collect copies of your TSA identification documents, and address any remaining questions you may have.
